Green Valley

Henderson’s rapid growth resulted in the neighboring area of Green Valley. Although they share a mailing address, Green Valley feels like its own “little city.” Home of unique shopping opportunities such as The Galleria at Sunset shopping mall, and The District, Green Valley is a great place to live.

Green Valley is conveniently located right off of the 215 Beltway, which makes commuting to the Strip, Downtown, or even North Las Vegas easily accessible.

The District is adjacent to the newest Green Valley casino, Green Valley Ranch Station. The District is metropolitan shopping area with many restaurants and cafes along with interesting shops. Green Valley also has many convenient shopping centers with popular grocery stores and organic grocery stores as well.

Currently the Green Valley area is the home to many beautiful golf courses and golf course communities. There are also many dining opportunities for residents to enjoy. There are gourmet, casual, and family restaurants alike. Residents in Green Valley can dine on anything from Filet Mignon to Sushi, to pizza, all within minutes from their homes.

There are many accredited schools in the Green Valley Area, including Green Valley High School, which recently was ranked one of the top 10.

Recently Green Valley welcomed the addition of an outdoor amphitheater which is the home to the annual “Shakespeare in th Park.” The amphitheater also houses musical events such as “Jazz Under the Stars”, and children’s events. Of course Green Valley also has many easy to get to movie theaters, bowling alleys, libraries, speciality shops, public parks and recreation centers, making Green Valley a wonderful place for families and singles.
